If admission is recommended by the doctor of AIG, then the patient can directly visit the admission desk. If someone else has recommended to consult AIG hospital, then you will be registered as an outpatient and will be checked by the hospital consultant. After complete examination, if the consultant feels that you require to stay at the hospital, then you will be admitted.

To complete your admission in the hospital you need to get your:

• Doctor’s referral letter
• Identity proof
• Medical insurance documents

If you are an international patient then you need to get your fitness certificate for air travel, copies of all the original medical report, soft copies of imaging tests, and referral note from your doctor.

AIG has established a new concept of day care unit where major Endoscopic surgical procedures are done on an outpatient basis. It is one of the largest referral centers in Asia for Therapeutic Endoscopy. Not only Indians, but patients from the surrounding countries like Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Malaysia, and Nepal are also referred to AIG.

Globally, AIG is the only hospital that has done the largest number of ERCP procedures. No attenders are permitted to stay in General Wards. However, only one attender is permitted in Twin Sharing, Single, & Deluxe Rooms. Two attenders are permitted in Suite Rooms & Presidential Suite.

We understand the concern of your friends and family, but for quicker recovery and to minimize the risk of infection no more than one person would be allowed to stay with patient. However, there are designated visiting hours, where the visitors are allowed to meet you.

Health insurance and third-party assurance (TPA) plays an important role in the modern healthcare.
