• MBBS- M S Ramaiah Medical College, Bangalore
• DNB Anaesthesia- Lourdes Hospital, Kochi.
• Fellowship in Liver Transplant Anaesthesia- Global Hospital, Axon group, Hyderabad.

Professional Synopsis:

Dr. Sunil Kumar N, after finishing DNB anaesthesia, joined Liver Transplant Anaesthesia fellowship in Global Hospital, Hyderabad under Axon group for one year.

During fellowship he has done around 60 liver transplant (both living and deceased donor).

Also he was managing ICU which involved acute liver failure patients, Acute on chronic liver disease patients and also post liver transplant patients.

After fellowship he joined Yashoda hospital in liver transplant department.

He has performed around 150 transplants including in house and outstation (both national and international) and pediatric transplants and also independently has done around 10 transplants. Also he was had opportunity to work in both medical and surgical liver ICU.

He was also involved in norm thermic machine perfusion liver transplants/split liver transplants.

He is also well versed Pancreatic and kidney transplant and other complicated hepatobiliary surgeries.

He was also a part of Surgical Gastro and Onco surgery and robotic oncosurgeries.

Research and Publications:

• Published papers on perioperative liver transplant care.
• Co-author of ongoing publication: “Early extubation in Liver Transplant recipients. Why should we still be in Dilemma?”

Skills and Accomplishments: 

• Perioperative care for adult and pediatric liver transplants.
• Presented a poster in 4th International liver symposium, Medanta 2018.
• Faculty in ISA Nagpur on Onco Anaesthesia updates CME in 2018.
• Member of Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists.
